Anti-Fraud Policy

1. Overview
Muvr Technologies, Inc. (“Muvr”) is committed to ensuring a trustworthy, secure, and fair platform for all users, including Customers, Movers, Haulers, Couriers, and Employees. Fraudulent activities undermine the integrity of the platform, create safety risks, and may lead to financial losses for both Muvr and its users.
This Anti-Fraud Policy outlines prohibited fraudulent activities, investigation procedures, and consequences for violations. Muvr has zero tolerance for fraud and reserves the right to permanently deactivate accounts, pursue legal action, and seek restitution in cases of confirmed fraud.
By using the Muvr platform, all users agree to comply with this policy and understand that violations may result in immediate and permanent deactivation.
2. Prohibited Fraudulent Activities
Fraudulent behavior on the Muvr platform includes but is not limited to financial fraud, identity fraud, misrepresentation, and abuse of the platform’s policies. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
2.1. Financial Fraud
- Unauthorized payment methods: Using stolen or unauthorized credit cards, debit cards, or bank accounts to pay for services.
- Chargeback abuse: Disputing valid transactions with banks or payment providers to avoid payment.
- Overcharging or fee manipulation: Service providers inflating costs, adding unauthorized fees, or requesting additional payments outside the Muvr platform.
- Refund fraud: Submitting false claims to obtain unwarranted refunds.
- Money laundering: Using Muvr’s payment system to process illicit funds.
2.2. Identity Fraud and Misrepresentation
- Using false or stolen identities: Creating accounts under fake names, stolen identities, or misrepresenting oneself.
- Multiple account fraud: Creating multiple accounts to exploit promotions, evade bans, or manipulate platform policies.
- Impersonation: Posing as a Muvr representative, employee, or another service provider.
2.3. Job and Rating Fraud
- Fake bookings: Customers and service providers collaborating to create fake jobs for financial gain or rating manipulation.
- Review and rating fraud:
- Paying for or posting fake positive reviews.
- Submitting false negative reviews to harm another user.
- Coordinating with others to manipulate ratings.
- Unauthorized cancellations: Canceling jobs under false pretenses to avoid fees or penalties.
2.4. Platform Policy Abuse
- Bypassing Muvr fees: Arranging payments outside the platform to avoid Muvr’s service fees.
- Promotion and referral fraud: Exploiting promotions, referrals, or incentive programs dishonestly (e.g., creating fake referrals).
- GPS and location manipulation: Using software or techniques to falsify location data or complete fake deliveries.
- Insurance fraud: Submitting false claims for damages or losses that did not occur.
Muvr actively monitors unusual platform activity and automatically flags suspicious transactions or behavior for investigation.
3. Reporting Fraud
Muvr encourages users to report any suspected fraud immediately. Fraud reports can be submitted through:
- The Muvr App (Fraud Reporting Feature).
- Muvr Customer Support via the website or email.
- Law enforcement (if financial fraud or identity theft has occurred).
When reporting fraud, users should provide:
- Detailed description of the fraudulent activity.
- Screenshots, messages, or transaction records as supporting evidence.
- Usernames or account details of involved parties.
Muvr investigates all fraud reports confidentially and takes action based on findings.
4. Fraud Investigation Process
When Muvr detects or receives a fraud report, the following steps are taken:
4.1. Initial Review
- The fraud case is logged and assigned to Muvr’s Fraud Prevention Team.
- Muvr analyzes transaction data, job history, and user interactions.
- If fraud is suspected, the account may be temporarily suspended pending investigation.
4.2. User Notification and Verification
- Users under investigation may be contacted for verification (ID, payment confirmation, or job details).
- If the user fails to cooperate with the investigation, the account may be permanently deactivated.
4.3. Final Determination and Action
- If fraud is confirmed, Muvr may:
- Permanently deactivate the fraudulent account.
- Revoke promotions, earnings, or refunds obtained fraudulently.
- Pursue legal action if financial loss or identity theft is involved.
- Report the fraudulent activity to law enforcement if applicable.
All decisions made by Muvr’s Fraud Prevention Team are final.
5. Consequences for Fraudulent Activity
Muvr enforces strict penalties for fraudulent behavior, including:

Muvr reserves the right to pursue legal claims or recover damages from users engaging in fraudulent activity.
6. Chargeback Disputes and Non-Payment Consequences
Muvr considers chargebacks and payment disputes as fraudulent if the service was legitimately completed.
6.1. Chargeback Abuse Policy
- Any user who files a chargeback dispute on a legitimate transaction may face:
- Immediate account suspension or termination.
- Debt collection measures for unpaid balances.
- Legal action if necessary to recover lost funds.
- If the chargeback is determined to be fraudulent, Muvr will work with banks, credit card providers, and legal authorities to challenge the dispute.
6.2. Non-Payment Consequences
If a customer fails to pay for a completed service:
- Future bookings may be restricted until the balance is cleared.
- Muvr may pursue legal action or assign the debt to a collections agency.
If a service provider owes Muvr money (e.g., background check fees, chargeback reversals), unpaid balances may be deducted from future earnings.
7. Preventative Measures Against Fraud
Muvr proactively detects and prevents fraud using:
- AI-driven fraud detection systems to identify suspicious activity.
- Identity verification at onboarding to prevent fake accounts.
- Fraud audits and internal compliance teams to review transactions.
- User education and warnings about fraudulent behaviors and penalties.
All users are expected to uphold Muvr’s integrity and report fraud when detected.
8. Additional Provisions
- Policy Updates – Muvr reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.
- No Waiver – Failure to enforce any part of this policy does not waive Muvr’s rights.
- Governing Law – This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
