Last Updated: 03/15/2025

1. Contractual Relationship

These Mover Terms & Conditions (“Mover Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Muvr platform as a Mover (“Mover” or “you”), including the applications, websites, content, products, and services (“Technology Services”) provided by Muvr Technologies, Inc., including its subsidiaries, affiliates, representatives, officers, and directors (collectively, “Muvr”).

By signing up as a Mover on Muvr’s platform, you confirm your agreement to be bound by these Mover Terms, as well as Muvr’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and all other applicable policies.

These Mover Terms apply to all services you provide through Muvr, including but not limited to:

  • Residential and commercial moving services
  • Large-item deliveries (furniture, appliances, oversized packages, etc.)
  • Loading and unloading assistance
  • Other moving-related services as authorized by Muvr

If any conflict arises between these Mover Terms and Muvr’s Terms of Use, these Mover Terms shall prevail solely with respect to the Mover Services.

Important: Please review the Arbitration Agreement set forth below carefully. This agreement requires you to resolve disputes with Muvr through final and binding arbitration on an individual basis, waiving your right to a jury trial or class action.

2. Independent Contractor Relationship

As a Mover, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or representative of Muvr.
  • You have full discretion to accept, reject, or ignore job requests.
  • You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and expenses incurred while using the platform.
  • You are not entitled to employee benefits, including but not limited to wages, overtime pay, health insurance, workers’ compensation, or retirement benefits.

Nothing in these Mover Terms shall be construed as creating an employment relationship between you and Muvr. Muvr does not control your schedule, routes, or pricing, except as required for marketplace functionality.

3. Mover Eligibility and Requirements

To qualify as a Mover on Muvr, you must meet the following requirements:

3.1. Age and Legal Status

  • Be at least 18 years old (21+ in some jurisdictions).
  • Be legally authorized to work as an independent contractor in your jurisdiction.

3.2. Vehicle and Equipment Standards

  • Provide a commercially acceptable moving vehicle (pickup truck, cargo van, box truck, etc.).
  • Have the necessary moving equipment (dollies, straps, blankets, tools, etc.).
  • Maintain your vehicle and equipment in safe working condition.

3.3. Background Checks and Screening

  • Pass a criminal background check and driving history review (where applicable).
  • Submit valid identification, proof of insurance, and other required documents.

3.4. Insurance Requirements

  • Maintain commercial auto insurance that meets state and federal requirements.
  • Carry general liability insurance covering property damage or bodily injury.
  • Understand that Muvr does not provide insurance for damages, loss, or liability.

Muvr reserves the right to suspend or remove Movers who fail to meet these requirements.

4. Mover Responsibilities and Conduct

As a Mover, you agree to the following professional conduct standards:

4.1. Service Expectations

  • Timely Arrival and Completion: Arrive at pickup locations on time and complete jobs efficiently.
  • Proper Handling of Items: Use appropriate techniques to prevent damage during transport.
  • Customer Communication: Be professional, courteous, and clear in all interactions.
  • Secure Transport: Properly secure items in your vehicle to avoid shifting or damage.

4.2. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Cancel jobs last-minute without a valid reason.
  • Misrepresent your qualifications or vehicle capabilities.
  • Engage in fraudulent activity, including requesting payment outside the platform.
  • Use unsafe or unregistered vehicles for moves.
  • Transport prohibited items (hazardous materials, illegal goods, perishable items, etc.).
  • Solicit customers to bypass Muvr’s platform.

Failure to comply with these standards may result in suspension or termination.

5. Payment, Fees, and Earnings

5.1. Mover Earnings and Payouts

  • Muvr pays Movers based on a fixed or dynamic pricing model, depending on job type.
  • Payments are processed via direct deposit on a scheduled basis.
  • Muvr may adjust payouts for cancellations, delays, or disputes.

5.2. Service Fees and Deductions

  • Muvr deducts a platform service fee from each completed job.
  • Additional fees may apply for disputes, claims, or policy violations.

5.3. No Cash Payments

  • All payments must be processed through the Muvr platform.
  • Accepting cash payments violates Muvr’s policies and may result in account termination.

6. Liability, Damages, and Dispute Resolution

6.1. Muvr’s Limited Liability

  • Muvr is not responsible for damages to items moved, lost belongings, or customer disputes.
  • Movers assume full liability for any damages they cause during transport.

6.2. Damage Claims and Disputes

If a customer files a damage claim, Muvr may:

  • Request photo evidence and proof of responsibility.
  • Investigate and determine partial or full liability.
  • Deduct damages from the Mover’s future payouts (if applicable).

6.3. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

  • All disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration, per Muvr’s Terms of Use.
  • Movers waive their right to a trial by jury or class-action lawsuits.

7. Termination and Deactivation

Muvr may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account under the following conditions:

  • Repeated policy violations or customer complaints.
  • Failure to meet performance standards (low ratings, cancellations, lateness).
  • Fraudulent or illegal activities.
  • Extended inactivity on the platform.

You may terminate your account at any time by removing your profile and ceasing to use Muvr’s services.

8. General Provisions

  • Changes to Terms – Muvr reserves the right to modify these Mover Terms at any time.
  • Governing Law – These Mover Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
  • Severability – If any provision is found invalid, the rest remain enforceable.
  • No Waiver – Muvr’s failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
