Am I an employee or an independent contractor? +
Muvr drivers and helpers operate as independent contractors. You set your own hours, choose which gigs you accept, and are responsible for your own taxes. Muvr provides a 1099 if your annual earnings exceed the IRS reporting threshold. There are no minimum hour requirements and no schedule commitments.
How long does the approval process take? +
Most applicants are reviewed within 24 to 48 hours of completing sign-up on the Muvr Driver App. The background check runs automatically and you do not need to submit any additional paperwork. Once your review is complete you receive a notification to finish your profile and can start accepting gigs the same day.
Can I choose which types of jobs I take? +
Yes. During profile setup you select which gig categories to appear for, including moving, delivery, junk removal, courier, or labor-only. You can update preferences anytime in the app. Before accepting any job you see the full details including type, estimated pay, pickup and drop-off locations, and estimated time. There is no penalty for declining.
Does Muvr take a cut of my tips? +
No. 100% of customer tips go directly to you. When a customer tips in the app the full amount is added to your earnings and available for daily cash-out immediately or included in your Tuesday weekly deposit.
Are there minimum hours or weekly commitments? +
