This Privacy Policy is published by Muvr Technologies, Inc. and its affiliates (“Muvr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with our websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy applies to individuals who access or use the Platform, including customers, providers, business users, merchant users, and partner users.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Platform.
1) Key definitions
- “Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual or household.
- “Sensitive Personal Information” means a subset of Personal Information that is treated as sensitive under certain laws (for example, precise geolocation, government identifiers, certain financial account access data, and other categories defined by applicable law).
- “Provider” means an individual or business that offers or performs services through the Platform (for example, moving, delivery, or junk removal services).
- “Customer” means an individual or business requesting services through the Platform.
- “Business User” means an authorized user of a business account (including admins).
- “Merchant” means a business that originates orders or coordinates fulfillment through the Platform.
- “Partner” means a business partner, affiliate, or integration partner.
2) Information we collect
We collect information in the following categories.
A) Information you provide to us
- Account and profile information: name, email, phone number, password or authentication information, profile photo (optional), preferred language, and communication preferences.
- Identity and verification information: date of birth (where required), government issued ID information (where required), selfie or photo verification (where required), business registration information (for business accounts), and documentation you submit for verification.
- Booking and service information: pickup and drop off addresses, access instructions, item lists, photos you upload, special requirements, schedule preferences, notes, and service selections.
- Payment and billing information: payment method details (processed by payment processors), billing address, transaction history, receipts, invoices (for business accounts), and tax related information where required. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers if processed by third party payment processors.
- Communications: messages, calls metadata (such as time and participants), emails, chat logs, support tickets, and other communications with us or through the Platform.
- Claims, incident, and dispute information: damage claims, photos, descriptions, repair estimates, incident reports, police report references (if provided), and related communications.
- Ratings and reviews: ratings, feedback, and other content you submit about services or users.
- Promotions and referrals: promo code use, referral relationships, and associated redemption details.
B) Information we collect automatically
- Device and technical information: device type, operating system, app version, browser type, IP address, device identifiers, and language settings.
- Usage information: pages or screens viewed, features used, clicks, session duration, crash logs, performance logs, and diagnostic events.
- Approximate location: we may infer approximate location from IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies, SDKs, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
C) Location information
Depending on your device settings and permissions and the services you use:
- Precise geolocation may be collected from your device for purposes such as matching, navigation, estimating arrival times, fraud prevention, safety features, and service completion verification.
You can control precise location collection in your device settings. Some features may not function without location permissions.
D) Information from third parties
We may receive information from:
- Payment processors (payment confirmation, risk signals, and transaction results).
- Background check and screening providers (for providers, where applicable and permitted by law).
- Identity verification providers (where applicable).
- Marketing, analytics, and attribution partners (campaign performance, referral source, and related signals).
- Business, merchant, and partner integrations (order details, pickup readiness, authorized user info).
- Public sources (limited, such as business registration lookups, where permitted).
3) How we use information
We use information for the following purposes:
A) Provide and operate the Platform
- Create and manage accounts
- Facilitate bookings, matching, dispatch, and service completion
- Provide receipts, confirmations, customer support, and operational communications
- Enable messaging and coordination between customers and providers (as applicable)
B) Safety, trust, and fraud prevention
- Verify identity and eligibility (including background checks where applicable)
- Detect and prevent fraud, account takeover, spam, and abuse
- Enforce our policies and agreements
- Monitor and investigate safety incidents, claims, and disputes
- Maintain Platform security and system integrity
C) Payments, pricing, and transactions
- Process payments, refunds, chargebacks, credits, and invoicing
- Manage risk, collections, and billing disputes
- Provide financial reporting and accounting
D) Improve, research, and develop
- Analyze usage to improve features and service quality
- Debug, troubleshoot, and perform testing
- Develop new products, safety controls, and operational tools
E) Communications and marketing
- Send service related messages (booking updates, safety notices, receipts)
- Send marketing messages where permitted and consistent with your preferences
- Measure marketing performance and attribution
F) Legal and compliance
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests
- Protect rights, safety, and property of users, Muvr, and the public
- Support audits, insurance, and regulatory inquiries where applicable
4) Legal bases for processing (where applicable)
Depending on your location and the nature of processing, we rely on legal bases such as:
- Performance of a contract (to provide services you request)
- Legitimate interests (to improve services, prevent fraud, secure the Platform, and protect safety)
- Consent (for certain marketing, precise location permissions, or cookies where required)
- Legal obligation (to meet tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements)
5) How we disclose information
We may disclose information in the following situations.
A) With other users for service fulfillment
- Customers and providers may see limited information needed to complete a booking, such as name, pickup and drop off details, job notes, and communications required for coordination.
- We encourage users to share only information necessary to complete the service.
B) With service providers and vendors
We disclose information to vendors who help us operate the Platform, such as:
- payment processors
- cloud hosting and data storage providers
- customer support tools
- analytics and performance monitoring providers
- fraud prevention and security vendors
- identity verification and background check vendors (where applicable)
Vendors are required to use information only to provide services to us and to protect it consistent with contractual obligations.
C) With business, merchant, and partner accounts
If you use a business account, or if a booking is originated by a merchant or partner:
- We may share booking and fulfillment information with account admins, authorized business users, merchants, or partners as needed to administer the account, manage service performance, handle billing, and resolve disputes, consistent with applicable agreements and law.
D) For legal, safety, and compliance reasons
We may disclose information when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
- comply with law, regulation, legal process, or lawful requests
- protect the rights, safety, and property of users, Muvr, and others
- prevent fraud, security incidents, and abuse
- investigate and enforce violations of our policies and agreements

E) With insurance, claims, and dispute stakeholders
We may disclose relevant information to:
- insurers, claims administrators, repair professionals, and dispute resolution partners
when necessary to process claims, investigate incidents, or resolve disputes.
F) In connection with corporate transactions
We may disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections and applicable law.
6) Selling and sharing for targeted advertising
Some privacy laws distinguish between “selling” and “sharing” Personal Information for targeted advertising. We may allow certain advertising and analytics partners to collect information through cookies or similar technologies for marketing measurement and, where permitted, targeted advertising.

We do not knowingly sell Personal Information of minors under 16.
7) Sensitive Personal Information
We use Sensitive Personal Information only as needed to:
- provide the Platform and services
- verify identity and prevent fraud
- protect safety and security
- comply with law
Where required by law, we provide additional choices for Sensitive Personal Information, such as limiting use or opting out of certain processing.
8) Data retention
We retain information as long as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the Platform
- complete transactions and maintain records
- resolve disputes and enforce agreements
- comply with legal obligations
- prevent fraud and enhance safety
Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the context of collection, and legal requirements. We may retain and use aggregated or deidentified information longer where permitted by law.
9) Data security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
10) International transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These locations may have data protection laws that differ from your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms and safeguards.
11) Your privacy rights and choices
Your rights depend on where you live. Subject to applicable law and verification, you may have rights to:
- Access: request access to Personal Information we hold about you
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate Personal Information
- Deletion: request deletion of Personal Information, subject to exceptions (for example, legal obligations, fraud prevention, safety, dispute handling)
- Portability: request a copy of certain information in a portable format
- Opt out: opt out of targeted advertising and certain “sale” or “sharing” disclosures where applicable
- Limit: limit the use of Sensitive Personal Information where applicable
- Non discrimination: not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights
A) How to exercise rights
You can submit requests through Support or through privacy request methods listed on our website. We may need to verify your identity and request details before processing.
B) Authorized agents
Where permitted, you may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of authorization and identity verification.
C) Appeals
Where required by law, you may appeal a decision on your privacy request by contacting us through the appeal process listed on our website or Support channels.
D) Marketing choices
You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link, and you can adjust push notification settings in your device or app settings. Service related communications will still be sent as needed.
E) Cookie and tracking choices

12) Additional disclosures for certain U.S. state laws
If you live in certain U.S. states, you may have additional rights (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others). Where required, we provide state specific disclosures and methods to exercise rights, including:
- categories of Personal Information collected
- purposes of use
- categories of third parties disclosed to
- opt out rights for targeted advertising, sale, or sharing
- rights related to Sensitive Personal Information
We may provide these details in a separate state privacy notice or addendum linked from this Privacy Policy.
13) Children’s privacy
The Platform is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided Personal Information, contact Support so we can take appropriate steps.
14) Third party links and services
The Platform may contain links to third party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. Your use of third party services is subject to their policies.
15) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date reflects the most recent revision. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice as required by law.
