Acceptable Use Policy
Last Updated: March 15, 2025
This Acceptable Use Policy (this “AUP”) describes rules for using Muvr’s websites, mobile applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). This AUP applies to anyone who accesses or uses the Platform, including customers, providers, business users, merchants, partners, and any other user (collectively, “you”).
This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of Muvr’s Terms of Use and any other applicable agreement you have with Muvr (“Muvr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). If this AUP conflicts with a specific written agreement you have with Muvr, that agreement controls only for the conflicting issue.
1) Purpose
Muvr is a real world services platform. Misuse can create safety incidents, fraud, legal exposure, and harm to customers, providers, and the public. This AUP sets clear boundaries so we can operate safely, legally, and at scale.
2) Scope
This AUP governs your conduct when you:
- Browse the Platform, create or manage an account, or communicate with others through the Platform
- Request, schedule, or receive services (moves, deliveries, junk removal, and other services)
- Offer or perform services as a provider
- Use any Muvr software, integrations, APIs, referral links, promotions, or business tools
- Upload, submit, or post content (including photos, messages, ratings, reviews, and support tickets)
3) General rule
You may use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that is safe, respectful, and consistent with our policies. You may not use the Platform in any way that:
- violates any law or regulation
- infringes the rights of others
- interferes with or harms the Platform, Muvr, users, or the public
- attempts to bypass Muvr’s processes, fees, controls, or safety mechanisms
4) Prohibited conduct
The following are prohibited. Examples are illustrative, not exhaustive.
A. Illegal, harmful, or dangerous activity
You may not use the Platform to facilitate, promote, or engage in:
- Any illegal activity of any kind
- Violence, threats, intimidation, or harassment
- Hate, discrimination, or targeted abuse
- Sexual exploitation, sexual content involving minors, or any form of grooming
- Human trafficking, coercion, or forced labor
- Self harm encouragement or threats directed at others
- Stalking, doxxing, or publishing private personal information
- Impersonation of law enforcement, government officials, or others
B. Unsafe items, prohibited items, and hazardous materials
You may not request, attempt to transport, or attempt to remove items that are illegal, unsafe, restricted, or prohibited under applicable law or Muvr policy. This includes, without limitation:
- Explosives, ammunition, fireworks, and similar items
- Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia intended for illegal use, controlled substances without lawful authorization
- Stolen property or goods suspected to be stolen
- Hazardous materials, toxic substances, flammables, corrosives, pressurized containers, and other regulated materials
- Biohazards, medical waste, contaminated materials, or items with significant infestation or contamination
- Any item that cannot be legally transported or disposed of in your jurisdiction
Note: Specific restrictions may be detailed in service specific policies (for example, junk removal prohibited items, deliveries restricted items, biohazard and infestation rules, firearms and weapons rules). This AUP applies in addition to those policies.
C. Fraud, deception, and payment abuse
You may not engage in fraud or deception, including:
- Using stolen payment methods, unauthorized cards, or counterfeit payment instruments
- Chargeback fraud or false disputes
- Creating fake accounts or misrepresenting identity, location, eligibility, licensing, or insurance
- Misrepresenting a job’s details to get a lower price, different equipment, or different provider
- Submitting false claims (including false damage claims) or false incident reports
- Manipulating ratings, reviews, or support outcomes through threats or deception
- Referral fraud, promo abuse, coupon stacking in violation of terms, or creating multiple accounts to obtain promotions
D. Off platform transactions and fee avoidance
You may not:
- Solicit or accept off platform payments for services arranged through the Platform
- Attempt to move bookings off platform to avoid Muvr fees, policies, or safety checks
- Encourage others to transact outside the Platform for services first introduced or arranged via Muvr
- Use the Platform to build a list of customers or providers for off platform solicitation
Muvr may allow limited off platform contact information exchange only where explicitly permitted for service completion. Any such allowance does not permit off platform payment or off platform contracting for the same or related service.
E. Interference with operations, safety, or service integrity
You may not:
- Interfere with a provider’s ability to perform services safely (for example, unsafe work conditions, aggressive pets, blocked access, intoxication, hostile behavior)
- Interfere with a customer’s receipt of service (for example, withholding property, threatening behavior, refusing to allow safe completion)
- Encourage unsafe lifting, unsafe driving, unsafe disposal, or unsafe handling of items
- Attempt to force a provider to violate laws, building rules, disposal rules, or Muvr policies
- Create repeated last minute cancellations, no shows, or disruptive conduct designed to harm others or manipulate pricing
F. Misuse of accounts and identity
You may not:
- Create accounts for anyone other than yourself without permission
- Share accounts, sell accounts, or transfer accounts without authorization
- Use false names (other than a common nickname), false contact information, or false address details
- Circumvent identity checks, background checks, eligibility requirements, or enforcement actions
- Use a VPN, emulator, spoofing, or other tools to conceal prohibited conduct or evade controls
G. Platform security, systems abuse, and technical misuse
You may not:
- Attempt to probe, scan, test, or breach the Platform’s security or authentication mechanisms
- Attempt to access data or systems you are not authorized to access
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Platform except as permitted by law
- Use bots, scrapers, spiders, or automated tools to access the Platform without written permission
- Abuse APIs, exceed rate limits, or attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls
- Upload malware, ransomware, spyware, or any code designed to harm systems or data
- Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the Platform, including denial of service activity
If you discover a vulnerability, you must report it responsibly to Muvr (see Section 10).
H. Content and communications abuse
You may not post, upload, or transmit content that:
- is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or unlawfully harassing
- includes someone else’s private personal information without consent
- is sexually explicit, exploitative, or depicts sexual violence
- is used to threaten, extort, blackmail, or coerce
- is misleading or impersonates another person or entity
- includes spam, scams, phishing attempts, or deceptive links
- includes instructions for wrongdoing, fraud, or evasion of law enforcement
You also may not use the Platform’s messaging tools to solicit off platform payment, recruit for non Muvr services, or market unrelated goods or services without authorization.
I. Intellectual property and brand misuse
You may not:
- Infringe copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights
- Use Muvr’s name, logo, or brand assets without permission or outside approved partner guidelines
- Create confusingly similar domains, social handles, or apps that mimic Muvr
- Use the Platform to distribute pirated, counterfeit, or infringing goods
J. Minors and eligibility
You may not:
- Use the Platform if you are not legally able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction
- Permit minors to use your account
- Use the Platform for activities involving minors in a manner that is unsafe, exploitative, or otherwise prohibited
5) Service specific compliance
Because Muvr coordinates real world services, you agree to comply with any service specific rules and any reasonable safety instructions provided by Muvr or by the service provider. If a job is unsafe, illegal, or non compliant, Muvr or the provider may refuse, pause, or stop service.
6) Reporting violations and emergencies
If you believe there is an emergency or immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
For non emergency issues, you should report suspected violations to Muvr through the Platform support channels. When reporting, include:
- booking ID (if applicable)
- date and time
- names or account identifiers involved
- relevant photos, messages, or other evidence
False reporting is prohibited.
7) Enforcement and consequences
Muvr may take any action we deem appropriate to enforce this AUP and protect the Platform, including:
- removing or restricting content
- issuing warnings
- limiting features or communications
- canceling bookings or refusing service
- withholding, adjusting, or reversing payouts where permitted by law and applicable agreements
- suspending or terminating accounts
- deactivating providers (including temporary suspension during investigation)
- referring matters to law enforcement or regulators where appropriate
Enforcement may be immediate and without notice, especially for safety risks, suspected fraud, or security threats. Muvr may also require additional verification, documentation, or identity confirmation before restoring access.
8) Investigations and cooperation
You agree to cooperate with Muvr’s reasonable investigations, including providing accurate information, documentation, and timely responses. You must not interfere with investigations, intimidate witnesses, or destroy evidence.
9) No waiver
Failure to enforce this AUP in a particular instance does not waive Muvr’s right to enforce it in the future.
10) Security vulnerability reporting
If you believe you have discovered a security vulnerability, you agree to report it responsibly to Muvr and not publicly disclose it until Muvr has had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate. Do not access data beyond what is necessary to confirm the vulnerability, and do not disrupt the Platform.
11) Changes to this AUP
We may update this AUP from time to time. The “Last Updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP, to the extent permitted by law and your applicable agreements.
12) Contact
For questions about this AUP, contact Muvr Support through the Platform or via the support contact methods listed on our website.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
